LEMON SPONGE CAKE BALLET SCHOOL is a learning center where children of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds enjoy educational programs based on classical ballet syllabus during
Fall Spring sessions with performance opportunities at the end of each session. Dance courses continue with summer sessions that offer intensive training experience.
Lemon Sponge Cake programs offer children nourishment in the performing arts. Although international caliber instruction is at the core, the school is not centered on aspiration to produce professional dancers for the future. Instead, the programs create an opportunity for students to focus, engage, and forge meaningful connections in the present. Through the aesthetic athleticism of classical ballet training, Lemon Sponge Cake classes strongly promote student's cognitive, motor, language and social growth, and possibility for positive development in self-confidence,
self-control, artistic expression, spatial awareness, and critical thinking.
Lemon Sponge Cake maintains a fully equipped dance studio year-round and also offers ongoing open adult classes to the general public. Beyond school hours, Lemon Sponge Cake's
artistic director and professional company utilize studio space for ever evolving kinesthetic studies and innovative creation processes producing highly acclaimed choreographic works.
